Presidente Abinader llega al país tras participar en la toma de posesión de gobernadora, Jenniffer A. González Colón

SANTO DOMINGO, RD.- El presidente Luis Abinader regresó al país pasadas las 3:30 de la tarde de este jueves, tras su viaje a San Juan, Puerto Rico, donde asistió a la toma de posesión de la nueva gobernadora, Jenniffer A. González Colón.
El jefe de Estado regresó por la Base Aérea de San Isidro y fue recibido por el ministro de Defensa, teniente general Carlos Antonio Fernández Onofre.
Durante su discurso, la gobernadora González Colón, aseguró que las relaciones con la República Dominicana serán fortalecidas durante su gestión de gobierno.
También, resaltó que ambas naciones seguirán cosechando lazos económicos y de amistad, como siempre lo ha habido.
El mandatario dominicano llegó a la nación puertorriqueña a las 9:40 de la mañana de este jueves y fue recibido por la secretaria de Estado de Puerto Rico, Verónica Ferraioli
El jefe de Estado salió del país a las 9:00 de la mañana por la Base Aérea de San Isidro, donde fue despedido por el ministro de Defensa, teniente general Carlos Antonio Fernández Onofre y el comandante general de la Fuerza Aérea de República Dominicana, mayor general piloto Floreal T. Suárez Martínez.
El mandatario viajó acompañado por el canciller Roberto Álvarez; el vicecanciller de Asuntos Consulares y Migratorios, Opinio Díaz Vargas; los directores, de la Dirección General de Impuestos Internos (DGII), Luis Valdez; del Despacho Presidencial, Noelia Shephard, y el jefe del Cuerpo de Seguridad Presidencial (Cusep), mayor general Jimmy Arias Grullón.
También asistieron a la toma de posesión de la gobernadora, el cónsul dominicano, César Cedeño, y el director de prensa del Presidente, Daniel García Archibald
