Radares de la Digesett: ¿Qué dice experto sobre los dispositivos y sus multas?

DIARIO ULTRAMAR, SANTO DOMINGO, RD.- Los nuevos radares que estrena la a Dirección General de Seguridad de Tránsito y Transporte Terrestre (Digesett), ha provocado una serie de reacciones sobre la legalidad y precisión de los dispositivos.
Al respecto el experto en seguridad vial, Antonio Germoso, aclara el alcance y uso del tipo de tecnología que debe aplicar la institución fiscalizadora del transito.
«La medida yo la valoro muy positiva, podría eficientizar el tema de las fiscalizaciones, ya que un agente de la Digesett no es suficiente, para todas las imprudencias que se cometen a diario«, indicó el experto en seguridad vial.
Explicó al periódico que, según la normativa de la institución sus agentes deben acompañarse de tecnologías para realizar sus labores.
«Ellos están ejecutando lo que establece la ley«, afirmó Germoso.
Por otro lado, entiende que debe aclararse la aplicación de multas mediante el rastreo del dispositivo.
«Ahí es donde debemos tener un poco de cuidado para que los conductores tengan confianza en los radares, y que la multa que se le colocó es real, así que la entidad debe aclarar como es el procedimiento de las infracciones», dijo.
Los Radares de la Digesett
La Digesett explicó mediante un comunicado que estos modernos radares digitales están diseñados para captar la imagen del conductor que circule a velocidad excesiva. “Con esta innovadora tecnología, los agentes de tránsito ya no tendrán que atravesarse a ningún vehículo para medir la velocidad y tampoco será necesario detener al conductor para fiscalizarlo. Las imágenes captadas por los radares serán enviadas automáticamente a la central, donde se visualizará la fiscalización en el sistema”.
Los nuevos dispositivos estarán instalados en diversas arterias de alta circulación a nivel nacional, para efectuar una vigilancia más efectiva y un manejo más ágil de la situación en las vías. Con esta implementación, se espera una reducción significativa en las infracciones por exceso de velocidad, así como un incremento en la seguridad y la convivencia pacífica entre conductores.
