Abinader anuncia la llegada de dos nuevas aerolíneas en la aviación civil nacional

DIARIO ULTRAMAR, SANTO DOMINGO, RD.- El presidente Luis Abinader adelantó este lunes la llegada de dos nuevas aerolíneas a la aviación civil dominicana, lo que a su juicio, impulsará una mayor competencia y una posterior reducción en el costo de los vuelos para los dominicanos que residen en el exterior.
Ofreció la primicia durante el primer encuentro de este 2024 de LA Semanal con la Prensa, que el mandatario hace cada lunes en el Palacio Nacional sin indicar nombres ni fecha para la entrada en operaciones de estas líneas aéreas.
«Y vienen -esto lo adelanto sin decir nombre- pero vienen dos nuevas aerolíneas más, por los incentivos que le hemos dado», respondió Abinader a una pregunta inicialmente sobre los 10 dólares que las aerolíneas estadounidenses le cargan a los pasajes de dominicanos que viajan al país.
Con relación a este punto, el mandatario indicó que bajo su gestión se han tomado medidas para que el proceso se realice en menos tiempo de manera digital o a través de una estafeta del BanReservas.
«Desde que llegamos al Gobierno hemos implementado varias medidas para que todo el que quiera, todo el que quiera, en EE.UU., cualquier sitio, que quiera reembolsarse los diez dólares, lo pueda hacer en 5 minutos, incluso de manera digital, o de manera física a través de las estafetas del Banco de Reservas», respondió Abinader a la pregunta del periodista dominicano radicado en Nueva York Ramón Mercedes.
