Banreservas donará RD$100 millones para las víctimas de las inundaciones

El Banco de Reservas (Banreservas) informó este domingo que creó un fondo de RD$100 millones para ser destinado a mitigar los daños causados por las inundaciones causadas por las lluvias en el país durante el fin de semana.

Los recursos serán invertidos en la compra de medicamentos, agua potable, alimentos, colchones y materiales de construcción que serán entregados por el Voluntariado Banreservas a las alcaldías, entidades organizadas de la sociedad de la civil, juntas de vecinos y otras instancias de las zonas afectas.

El administrador general del Banco de Reservas, Samuel Pereyra, a nombre de la institución y su Consejo de Directores, expresó sus condolencias a las familias de las víctimas que han sido afectadas por las inundaciones.
