DIARIO ULTRAMAR, SANTO DOMINGO. – El director general del Instituto Dominicano de Aviación Civil (IDAC), Héctor Porcella, afirmó este viernes que la puesta en operación del Comando Sur de la Fuerza Aérea de la República Dominicana (FARD) en el Aeropuerto María Montez, de Barahona, tendrá un impacto estratégico en la Región, ya que además de fortalecer el sistema aeronáutico nacional, contribuirá a salvaguardar la soberanía aérea y territorial del país.
