Magistral charla para la diáspora dictada por el conferencista César Román.
La noche del jueves 9 de febrero Quisqueya es Moda y la Comisión de Cultura Dominicana en el exterior presentaron el taller Sabor a Sueños, la cual estuvo a cargo del conferencista César Román. Alrededor de 70 personas de la diáspora se dieron cita en el local situado en el 2406 de la avenida Ámsterdam, en el Alto Manhattan.
La charla trató de las razones que nos impiden realizar nuestros objetivos. El charlista puntualizó la necesidad de trazarnos metas manejables, razonables y de acuerdo a nuestras posibilidades y talentos. Este destacó la importancia de la disciplina, el enfoque y la persistencia, y además, conversó sobre el sabotaje exterior y el autosabotaje, la importancia del diálogo interno y la teoría de las inteligencias múltiples, enfatizando la necesidad de enfocarnos en nuestras destrezas para obtener mejores resultados.
La conferencia estuvo salpicada de teorías, humor y algunas de las décimas plasmadas en su libro El camino hacia ti mismo. La participación activa de la audiencia fue parte del éxito de la actividad la cual culminó con su décima titulada:
«Nunca abandones tus sueños», provocando una ovación de pie por parte de los participantes.
